Since 1993, Cobras have come with 3.27s standard. 3.27s are opional for GTs. But both GTs and Cobras use the same 28 spline Trac-Loc, and the same 28 spline axles. Other then people will try to rip you off, there is no difference in putting "Cobra" differentials and axles, differentials, 3.27s, or tie rods, or the GT counter part, on whatever. But I do believe the Cobras come with a lower ratio (tighter) ratio steering. If you are looking to upgrade your axles and tie rods, then you need to look aftermarket. 31 spline axles/differential, and perhaps maximum motorsports (or similiar) tie rods and tie rod ends. |
