From what I've read and inferred, the new platform will be great, supension, weight, balance, ect, besides it needs some fairly simple bracing. Strut tower brace, under carriage in the subframe area, ect. Other then that, it is apparently a very good performance platform.

Like when ever Mustangs make a signifigant change there are always the doomsday nay sayers, but I think the new platform will be much better then the current one.
