![]() I installed the MAC kit on my '97 Cobra and noticed a slight increase, probably to the tune of 8-10 hp. It also gave it a better sound not to mention it looks great under the hood. On the downside, it tends to make the idle a little rough for some reason. I'm not sure about the '99s, but on mine it required relocating the air pump with a bracket supplied with the kit, and it was a b!tch. Anyway, I say go for it, I am pleased with mine!
