it'll never sound like the h pipe because the x changes the sound. if you want louder get the 40 series. bassani actually recommends the flow through muff.(dynomax type) for best perf.though. I have the ultra flows and really enjoy them. they are on the quiet side but they do have a real nice sound when you get on it though. i like them more than flows, especially when you don't have to turn the stereo up 3/4 of the way to here it as is nec. with flows.jmo.
