If tranny mount is broke you would notice shifter kick up alil.

A motor mount would be very easy to spot since it wouldnt take much throttle to get it to tweak sideways. From what you describe yah your motor mount sounds as if it is broken. I have broken both at one time on a firebird(not fun when when this happend at track)

Make sure to get it fixed, since other one could easily get broken along with tranny mount now.
