I made my own torque arm similar to the one on Darius' car. (Thanks for answering my questions back in the day, D!) I used the prints in the Mathis book (Mustang Performance 2, available through HP Motorbooks), combined with some aspects of the Griggs design. My arm is made from .120 wall box steel with a .250 back plate, and is HEAVY! ...but it works.
