I would rather have the GT40 over the cobra anyday, The GT40 is the only one that uses round separate tubing and it produces a much better power curve than ANY other manifold. The peak power of the Cobra might be close to the GT40 but not across the entire powerband. The trickflow R manifold (not the street version) does make about 15 more ponies than the GT40 but again not across the whole band and it makes those extra horses at like 68-7 grand which is too high rpm for most of us. The Holley lower will not fit a factory upper either, the ports are shaped differently. It might be possible to port match the two together but it would be hard and might not work so well.
