The water pumps that come on the crate motors from ford racing are for the serpentine system and spin the wrong direction for a V-belt pulley system. I think everything should bolt up from the intake down. I bought a crate motor, from someone I know who totaled their car about 200 miles after they put it in. The old block in my stang was from an early 70's truck and all the accessories from it bolted onto the new crate motor.
