Did you try replaceing the pilot bushing? Sometimes i get a lil grinde going from 2nd ta 3rd but I know ist due to the shifter linkage adjustment( It was a lil sloppy when I changed the lower shifter boot housing so I made an adjustment oops ) Also i found that the 'clutch equaliser bushing & mount had gone bad [cost aprx. 12.bucks] solved the problem.
