I've had 3 sets (3 different brands) of roller rockers on two sets of heads, one pedestal and one stud mount, and they've all made a slight ticking sound. Some brands seem louder than others, but all were installed correctly and operated without problems. Check installation; if correct, turn the radio up to drown out the sound.
