Yep, that's a great question. Are you building a street/strip vehicle, drag only, or road race? 450 hp is a decent amount of power...without a drag suspension and tires to harness the power, it can set you sideways at 50.

Given that the limit of the stock block varies upon how you use it, many articles claim that 500-550 is a realistic limit. On the other hand, there are guys who blow their engines at only 400 hp.

Unit's right...figure out what you want to do with the car first and how much you want to spend. Unfortunately, making that much power does not come at the cost of the blower alone.
