![]() 12 - respectable
11 - quick 10 - fast 9 - even faster ![]() 8 - sick 7 - insane 6 - nutz (cause it takes two big ones to go into that territory) ...ET ranges for a doorslammer, not dragsters (aka rails) or funnycars ![]() 11's are fast for plain ol' stock radial treads.... IMHO ![]() |

![]() 14's, any stock mustang gt can accomplish that easy with a good driver. 13's, ok, not fast, but ok 12's or faster, very good and very respectable. My 2 1/4 cents. Daniel. |

![]() Well basically there is a difference in fast and quick.. so 160 + MPH is fast.. no matter how long the distance... as far as quick... a mid 11 is nice. a 10 is better and a 9 or lower is just a dream at this point. You gotta remember, my best 1/8th mile comes out to a 14.2 1/4...

![]() 150mph must be considered fast by the sanctioning bodies since vehicles traveling in excess of that mph must have a parachute... right? A good example is that, out of a pair of cars drag racing, one may be quicker than the other, while the 'slower' car may be faster... factors such as traction, weight, etc. play into the equation then. Thanks for getting me, and hopefully the others, straightened out on that Bradley ![]() |

![]() why i think 13's are fast............
i just counted the last 50 cars that drove past my window........barring any huge sleepers, i didn't see a single car that looked capable of running 13's...............i saw maybe 4 cars that MIGHT be able to run 14's (audi tt, 94-98 stang gt, new bimmer 3 series, and a pontiac GTP) sure, i could say that nothing that runs 10's or higher is fast.........but then i may never actually see a "fast" car on the street

![]() there are way too many 13 sec cars running around these days that it just feels normal to me ![]() now if you jump back in time to the mid 80's then 13's would have been something to be proud of as a street car, but these days eh too common.

![]() this is not cbring brings up a good point. When i was in high school, someone who had a 15 second car had a "fast car". My friends think my car is "insanely fast", even though 80% of the people on this site have a faster car than i do.
There's a BIG difference in TRACK fast and STREET fast especially when comparing your car against most cars you see on the street. Also, there's a guy at my work that runs slicks and mild mods on his '92 GT and ran a 13.54@99.?mph in great weather launching at 5500 rpm, whereas my GT would probably waste his on the street but my ET/traction-driving sucks. It's all comparative. i suppose anything that has the potential to run a low 14 and under is fast, 12's very fast, 11's really really fast, 10's nuts, 9's and under insane. 15 and 16 second cars are ok....fast enough to easily merge into traffic, 17 and above are SLOW.

![]() It is all a matter of perception.Down here in South Florida,If you have a vehicle that you can drive at least 50 miles, like to the track, IF you can run at least an 11.5 with NO NOS,you are good to go.However, IF you have BIG MONEY in your car, You better be fast.

![]() LOL, it was more of a "POP!!!" than a blast... maybe more like "POOFFFFF!!!" ..er, no, maybe... lol
![]() One thing that blew my mind, is that the rotating assembly, cam, and belt drive all made it through unharmed... although I had to cut the dislodged cam bearings out to remove the cam. Once the block split down the middle, for some reason, the cam bearings didn't want to stay where they're supposed to be ![]() ![]() I got lucky... in a strange sort of way, I guess ![]() |

![]() Hey Ryan, are you interested in becoming a crew member for me? No joking aside? If you are we can talk out some things. One guy moved back to alabama to be with his family..so he can't help me. And noboby around this area knows what it takes..and isn't dependable.

![]() I really would like to Eric, however, I will be going back to work for my dad soon and am unable to make any other commitments at this time... I have no idea what will be asked of me this spring in terms of my job, though I have been guaranteed time off to go racing.
If I were in any position to travel, I would be more than willing to do so... I'll let you know if anything comes up that will allow me to join your efforts. I sincerely appreciate the offer! ![]() |

![]() no problem. They'll be a spot open for ya. I figured since we got along so good you'd be a good person to have as a crew member.
