I went to see it and it is a heck a lot better than the first just because it is more realistic, but still has unrealistic characteristics but yet again, what movie doesn't? I watched it and enjoyed it because of it's entertainment value, am I a ricer? I don't think so, bottom line, just don't say, "I'm not gonna watch the movie cuz it's not realistic." ~Brian

which parts in particular were less realistic from the first one? just curious, because i thought the opposite. obviously they hype up the cars in both movies to add effect, which it does. the point of these movies (i dont think) isnt to see the realism in the ricer community, its just entertainment based on the idea of racing. i found both entertaining but i enjoyed the plot and idea of the first one better. also, i believe they acknowledged american power in the first one too, by saying that the charger had so much power it scared Vin Diesal out of even driving it but like you all said, the point is that they are made for entertainment, not to prove any sort of realism. hehe who would watch a movie filled with a bunch of home camera shots of ricers racing each other without sound and video effects to get you into it? and plus, it would be alot harder to pick apart if it were more realistic just my two cents
