![]() I am not a fan of the 05. The '03 GT 5 spd that I now own is my 4th mustang, and it is the best one that I have had. So I will vote for the '03..lol.
I will probaly but another 89-93 though to play with.

![]() I own a 99 GT and my father owns an 05 GT. I like them both. If you knew anything about mustangs you'd know that the 99 GT is the greatest one ever produced, but i suppose i am biased lmfao

![]() What makes the '99 so great? How is a '99 any different then the 00-04 mustangs that are the exact same platform?

![]() yeah my dad has an 05 GT. they are really beatiful. there's nothing greater than hearing that 300 hp 5 speed turn over. brings a tear to my eye. or maybe its the smoke left hanging in the air when my dad takes off down the road in it. lol

![]() Glad to hear you have a "lead foot dad". I kinda wish my two boys/men were more interested in cars. They do extremely well in other areas (sports, financial, etc.), but really have not much interest in fast cars. Maybe my grandchildren will.
Rev

![]() im sorry to hear that rev. i see that you are in Houston, im only about an hour and fifteen minutes from you. when i drive it's only about 45 minutes though. do you attend any cruises in the area? for instance, have you heard of Cruisin' Silsbee? Its a huge deal for the area but i dont know if people from more distant areas have heard of it. we have cars from all over the country come in though. you should come one year. then you could watch me beat the pants off of every other car on the show grounds and on the track. lol (BTW Im also the youngest racer there, you know, just to add insult to injury)

![]() In my mind, the 03/04 Cobra is the best all-around Mustang to date. I can only imagine what SVT will do with the new/improved S197 platform... although I'm not too keen to the 'throttle-by-wire' setup that Ford is using.
Sure, I'm quite fond of the 87-93 Foxes... but I wouldn't label them as the best mustangs ever. Easy to work on, that's for sure ...but not the best. |

![]() I have a 05 and also just finished resto an a 71 351 ram air mach1 the 71 is a great car with lots of brute power and handles well but the 05 is refined power, it does not feel as fast as the 71 or sound as fast but it will chew up and spit out the 71 it is fast fun and gets 25 mpg on the road and carves corners like a go cart
