Unhappy Talk about bad luck...

Well after the computer in my car got messed up, the one in the office decided to go for a crap! Switched out the hard drive and now I'm running.

Isn't it amazing how dependant we have become on these little black boxes?

It's hard to believe that the world once functioned without computers. I can hardly imagine since i've grown up with the evolution of personal computers. I imagine that "back in the old days" that there was ALOT of paperwork.

Thumbs down

According to information I've heard about the computer has actually created more paperwork than ever.

I would guess it's simply because of the ease of document creation.

People have become pathetic. Completely unwilling to take responsibility for anything. They are now sue happy, immoral, cry babies. Companies now have to have 30 pages of signed disclaimers because some idiot will try and weasel out of a deal, or he'll smell money somewhere. That and jury's are more interested in a sob story then the truth. Tell a sob story and win because all companies are evil, monopolistic, faceless corporations in Joe Schmoe's eyes.

I wish people would grow up a little.

Case in point, the Microsoft monopoly lawsuit. Yeah, they have a monopoly my *** . MSN is nowhere near the top of the list for internet service providers. They are just giving a packaged product. Maybe Trek is getting a monopoly on moutain bikes because of the Volkswagon Jetta Trek edition a few years back? Give me a break. All microsoft has done is told other companies if they don't want to do business with Microsoft, then they'll see real battle on the comsumer arena. They've made their code accessible, even tried to set up a deal with AOHell (the real internet monopolists). Just doesn't matter. If you want to beat Microsoft, quit buying their products, or design a program that is better/cheaper than what they offer.
