Cool New engine pic. It's starting to shine!

I just got my Accufab TB installed and wanted to show off my new look.

I think the engine will come out this winter so I can repaint the doghouse and fill some of the holes. While I'm at it the GT-40 intake will get a nice polish put to it along with all the accessories. I have to get rid of that nasty power steering pump too and get a new shinier one

Looks killer! One small suggestion: you might want to buy some plug wire separators. You know how susceptible 5.0's are to crossfire! just a thought.

Take care

Yeah, I know Chris. I have some, but just haven't taken the time to put the damn things on for working on every other problem I have had. Now that my vacuum problem is fixed (FINALLY!!!) I can focus my attention on things like that. I'm planning on ordering some MSD wires in the very near future anyway so those will be coming off and I'll get the new ones routed so they look a little better. These were "cut to fit" and I have to say somebody was drunk when they cut them.

That's not a fire suppression kit, that's my coolant overflow bottle. You can't really see it, but I machined a pretty sweet little bracket for it at work to bolt it to the radiator in the stock location.

Dude, that thing just plain looks mean.

Mean and pissed off.

That happens to be a very good thing.

Sorry for nitpicking about the wires, but I can't help it. I make a living seeing problems and finding solutions for them. Actually, it really sucks when some kid, who used to know my Buick, sees me at a gas station or something. They always rush me over to "check out their engine", and like a jerk, the first thing out of my mouth is usually a suggestion, rather than a compliment. I don't mean to be that way, I really just can't help it. When I stop and think before I speak, it's cool for a minute or two, but I will find things that could be done better. I admit, I can be an ******* sometimes, but as long as everyone knows not to take it personal, it's cool. Anyway, I like what I see. The shadows, combined with the glare, make that intake look downright evil. The Accufab looks nice too, but it's new, it's supposed to look cool. What's the junction block against the fenderwell?

Take care
~Chris

I didn't take it as though you were nitpicking Chris. I value your opinion as highly as the best Stangers on here so nitpick away!

The junction block is an inline 150 amp fuse for my 3G alternator. That's just a temporary location for it.

I always say I'm going to sell this car when it pisses me off Fox Body, and I even offered it to a couple people for a descent price, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell it. I just get flustered sometimes and say sh!t I don't mean.

Thanks for the compliments guys. You know, it's one thing to build an engine for the hell of it just to make it faster, or look nicer. But pretty much everything you see was bought because I needed to replace things and I decided to go bigger and better while I was doing it. It's funny how you buy this, then you need that, and so on! For instance - I bought the valve covers to clear my rockers, but the intake was too low. So, I needed a 1" spacer. Now I need a new hood because the engine is too tall! It never ends. I just wish I could eventually need something that would cause a need for an S trim
