Post Those groovy letters on the rear bumper

I have a dark purple 97 GT and I was wondering about the coloring of the MUSTANG GT on the back bumper.I think it would look cool, white. Are there decal kits or is this stock on some cars.I have no idea how to do it, short of some model paint and a small brush.Any ideas would be appreciated.

I saw some vinyl, die-cut, stick-on letters on a web site somewhere, but in my old age don't remember where. Check Mustang parts sites. Possibly check out Mustang mags too for availability.

These would look much better than hand painting, unless you have a steady hand...

Cool

I ordered mine from Tommy Vaughn Ford in Houston. They have ads in the Stang mags, and also a website. They do have them in white. I would get the sticker kit, and not mess w/ the paint.
I think it ran about $15. (If I remember right!!) Good luck and let me know if you find them!!

I ordered mine from Mustangworld.com. They have just about every color you could want, including reflective and stainless steel inserts! They ship very fast and the prices are great ($10 for the normal ones, $25 for reflective, and $90 for stainless steel).

I have the inserts from www.mustangworld.com and they were a breeze to put on. You basically just make up a soapy water solution in a squirt bottle and spray the area down real good then apply the decals. The solution allows you to adjust the decals until they are just the way you like them and then it evaporates. As it's drying you can press out any air bubbles. I have had mine on for about a year and a half and even after many heavy washes they have never peeled.

Good luck,
Brett

I've had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH MINE!! They've been on AT LEAST 2 years!! They will NOT wash off!!! (and ya'll know how often I wash Topless!!)
Stainless???? Now that would look cool too!!! They might get a 'chip' or nik in them, but other than that, they have been great and I have no complaints!!! They still look great!!

When i had a 96 gt i just got the sticker from the local ford dealer ship. It was easy as hell to put on. It fit perfectly in there. It never came of when i had the car.
