Red face WHy? could you help me

im at work right now, and i go through the message board 5 days a week (obviously because i sit at a computer everyday and browse the net the whole time), but the main thing is that every time i post replies or check recently replied messeges i cannot see them, they do not show up on the screen, only when i go home and log on and check em that when i see them. Could any of you guys help me out, my throw me an email or sumthin. Its weird only with replies it happens, when i post this ill be able to see it but not the replies.

thanx

I had the same problem, and here's what I did to resolve it (On Dan's advice).

You may need to reset your 'cookies' on your user profile. Go in there and delete the current cookies, then set them again, as they can become corrupted. Didn't work for me but worth a shot as it's quick and easy.

If that doesn't fix it, try doing what I did:
Look at the right upper part of the screen after you post a reply and you'll see the forum listed and a 'open file' symbol for the subject (in this instance "Why, can you help me?"). Right click on that folder symbol and you'll get a list of options. Near the top will be Reload Frame. Click on that and the page will reload in about 10 seconds and your reply should now be visible. Works for me.

Now, the reply is supposed to be visible immediately and automatically, so this is a workaround but a lot easier than trying to reset everything.

Dan McClain is a computer professional and can probably offer other advice but this should help you see your replies immediately.

All I can tell you is to go into "Preferences" and click "delete my cookie" or something like that. Then tell it to save your preferences as a cookie in your browser again. I'm not sure what the heck causes this, but it doesn't seem to be wide spready. Only a couple people have said this has happened to them.
