![]() Just posting this tell people to never get an SVO adjustable clutch cable. I bought one, installed it perfectly, and 3 months later now it brakes. Now my car is sitting in the garage waiting until Friday when I get a Steeda double hook, firewall adjuster, and stock cable in. I just got back from a trip from tampa to orlando and noticed my clutch was acting funny. I got under the car and noticed the cable was only 2 strands thick! The cable had freyed in the sheath. What a POS. I hope this post saves someone from making a mistake.

![]() Sorry to hear you had issues with yours, I ran one for the last 5 years and it still worked fine when I replaced it with a UPR and and cable, the only reason I replaced it was the car was done to a shell and I figure why not, I was also installing a new clutch.
Make sure the cable is away from your headers or it will melt the sheathing and damage the cable, a buddy of mine has a lot of issues with this on his, he wraps the cable with a heat sheild sleeve to keep the heat away..
