![]() You'll need new motor mounts and swap headers for starters. And an oil pan that will fit a 351 in a Fox bodied car. As for things like a power steering pump and alternator, I'm not sure. It's a pretty common and easy swap once you have all the details.

![]() 5.0 mag just did a article on this. It told you everything you would need, and it also gave the ups and downs of the 351 and the 347.

![]() Speaking of that issue, I called Mondo Bob(the guy shooting for 6's) and he suggested I go with a stroker kit for the street for my 351 instead of a blower due to the expense involved.

![]() also what you may run into, is that the brake booster may be in the way, depending on the year, lots of custom parts on my dads 82 GT. You might have to cut into the K member for the headers to fit. we went through 5 pairs of headers. may need a new fuel pump, the power steering and altenator i think they sell kits for the mounting.

![]() I put a 351W into my '82GT. Once you have the correct oil pan it drops right in. I put MAC shorty headers on mine. If you get shorties MAKE SURE THEY ARE FOR A 351 because 302 headers will fit the engine but won't clear the steering shaft. I found out the hard way. I didn't use different engine mounts either unless they changed them later on. I don't know what swaps with the 302 because I tore the 302 out and installed a rebuilt 351W
