Default Sits between my Heads...

Ok I am in the market for a new intake, I am either going to get the Performer RPM or the RPM Air Gap intake for my carbed 306 Check out my car and mods by clicking on the link in my Sig.

I like the Air Gap and am probably going to get that, but what I need to know is will it work in my car? The Intake doesn't have a rear water crossover in the back like the Performer RPM does or like my current Torker II intake. Is this going to be a problem? Why wouldn't they put a crossover in? Will my heads get too hot or my engine overheat?

Thanks,
Steve
