![]() Hi all,
I'm in the process of purchasing a 93 GT. I have a friend that has the exact same car. He took the stock H-pipe and hollowed out the cats. Now, I would never do this as this would be breaking this states pollution control laws. If I was to use a set-up like it I would only run it at the track. I was just curious as to how the hollowed out cats will effect his O2 sensors? I have also not heard his car run with the hollowed H-pipe. Would it be way to loud? Jayson |

![]() Well I'd predict they would react the same way my 95GT did when I completely removed the Cats and left the sensors alone: The car had more power and sounded way cooler!

![]() Go for it!! Before we got rid of the emissions laws here in FL! (a great day that was!!) Everyone just ran off-roads and hollowed out cats all year till they had to do emissions, then they put the cats on for inspection. I had no problems with O2 sensors, and neither did anyone I know.

![]() You can smell my car more. Especially if you are in an enclosed area (not inside, just where the air doesn't move).
