Default G-tech is kinda small

I got the g-tech pro for christmas and i love it. I cant wait to compare its accuracy to the track this spring. Anyway, when i opend the box i found that the unit is quite a bit smaller than i imagined. Here is a pic with my radar detector and a quarter in the pic with it.
