Question question on EDEL heads ...6022

well i just got a set of these heads they are stud mount heads. I talked to a guy and he told me that i need longer pushrods to run these heads then i talked to another guy that said i would not need them, I dont have the heads on yet and have not got harden pushrods yet so before i order new rods i want to know if i need a diffrent lenght rod or will the stock lenght be ok, Also if anyone might know the size(lenght) that i would need that would be a big help. I do have a B cam also.

thanks alot!!!

Because there are other factors involved, like head gasket thickness, rocker arm type, lifter condition, milled surfaces, etc., the only way to do it right is with an adjustable pushrod, used to measure, then order.

Take care,

Checking is the best way to know for sure. I did, and found that with my 6032s and rocker arms/head gaskets, I just needed a stock length pushrod. But if I didn't check I could have been way off. Definitely worth doing.
