![]() Does anyone know if there was a mustang with a V-8 but not a Gt produced around 94-98? I'm sure we saw one and considered purchasing it, but I'm told it had to be a GT. I thought it was an Lx or something as it definitely wasn't a GT as it was devoid of the usual Gt performance stuff like wheel, tires, brakes, suspension, etc, etc.

![]() All 1994-present V-8 stangs are GT's or Cobra's. The only thing I could think of that wouldn't be would be the 95 GTS mustang. It was a stripper, V-6 interior, base model 16" waffle 5-star rims, no spoiler, no fog lights. BUT, I think they were badged GT on the side.

![]() The Mustang GTS was made in 1995 only, has Mustang GT stamped into the rear bumper cover, and GT emblems on the fenders. There were only a few thousand made. Basicallly a V6 appearance package (save for the rear bumper), and V6 interior, with the GT drivetrain.
Option code deletes were available until 1998 I think. All the cars were still stamped GT. There are no 1994+ LX Mustangs. They were referred to as Mustang only. |

![]() Ditto with Unit. Some books and people refer to the V6 as the LX, but I'm not sure if that's correct
![]() I remember some *** was trying to sell a 1996 GTS in the auto trader...I was like ummmmm someone just bought a ghetto 4.6 and is trying to get rid of it ![]() |
