Default 4Cyl. Springs???????

how much will they lower my 88gt, and will i have a lot better traction, or is it not really worth it?

they are cheep, and i cannot afford the eibach springs for a while, but i can get my hands on a set of 4cyl springs for really cheep.

thanks

I wouldn't put them in, unless you plan on strictly drag racing at the track. Your car probaly wouldn't handle too good either. They will lower it a little bit, just because they are weaker and aren't made to support the weight of a V8. Your front end will be bouncy, but you'll get better weight distribution in a straight line. For a street car, I wouldn't put them in. You really won't be able to take advantage of the 4 cyl. springs on street tires. Slicks you will though.

i dont care for cornering fast, just going the speed limit around corners, and i am drag racing all summer. for a car that will not be cornering fast, just need to hook up & go in a straight line, would they be good?

thanks

Thumbs up

How much can you get them for is the question? Also, have you considered getting some drag racing shocks?

yes, eventually(once money permits) i will run some et streets, or at least some drag radials.

i will eventually get some 70/30's, or maby even 90/10's, and 50/50's, with some ssm liftbars(maby, sont want to shred my torque boxed).

i will get 373 gears in the car this season, and hopefullt some good tires.
i will pull the sway bar for racing if i do get the 4cyl springs.

Slicks would be the first thing I would suggest getting, if you plan on doing alot of drag racing. Guaranteed to knock off around .5's your best street tire time, you can't beat that.

The ferry is $40.00 but... if you leave your car on your side ...ride across as a foot passenger it only costs $7.50.. You would just have to carry those springs by hand...Gotta go offline but e-mail me if you want anything else I have a 6 acre mustang grave yard!See ya!
