![]() so what your saying is stock bottom end ?
not as much of a problem as choseing which heads cam intake etc you want to go with. for a little more money you could have forged pistons better rods (truck rods are better than car forcheap people like me have them polished and shot peened ) and the cranck shaft bearings are a area that is money well spent. But the real restriction is the stock heads cam and intake and you will be doing away with those. ![]()

![]() My bad, I was too vague. The W I have will have stg 3 TW heads
252/262, 600,618, 106 solid roller, Victor jr carbed intake, BG silver claw, Hooker full length headers, custom 3" X pipe exhaust. I had the stock pistons flycut so this cam would work. It'll have around 9.5:1. full Wolfe suspension and a Tremec. I'm going LS1 hunting ![]() Anyone have something similar to this? Scott |

![]() Looks like your pretty close, my dyno program says 433hp. Bump the compression up an extra 1/2 point and you will probably have the rear wheel numbers you are looking for. Of note, I think your cast pistons are a 'ticking bomb' with that much power.
