Default Attn: Ram Air Hood Owners

I have a question and I hope that ya'll can help. Because of the mishap with my hood, I am beginning to think that it is time to put on my Stormin Norman (sp?) hood. I had originally planned to wait until I had another vehicle, so that if it was raining, I would not have to drive the stang. I do not have the ram air set up that is available. My question is how much water will I get on the motor if I get rained on while driving? Do any of ya'll drive your cars with these types of hoods in the rain? If so, what do I need to do to protect the motor. Any advice will help, I'm making it ya'lls call as to wether or not I put the hood on or wait.
