![]() Will a 75mm Pro-M mass air meter that is calibrated for 19lb injectors work well with a near stock stang? Or is it better to wait until I have done heads/cam, etc.

![]() it will work well with a stock car but if you plan on alot of near future mods and an increase in injector size might be called for then i would wait until i had figured out exactly what you were going to do to the car then decide on the injector size and maf meter. or you could get a meter that comes with a few different flow tubes and then just change the flow tube as you increase injector size pro-m is calibrated through the electronics so you have to send it back to them to get it recalibrated.

![]() It made a very small increase for me. I would not have replaced mine if it didn't crap out on me. Aftermarket units are cheaper than stpock replacement units.

![]() Wait till you know your new combo, so you'll know the injector size.
I used an 80mm for my S-trim with 30#'s, then had it recalibrated (again) 3 years later for the 42#'s when I did the heads/cam/intake.

![]() I say go for it. I did a MAF conversion with a 75MM pro-m on a linclon mark VII (5.0 HO speed density) and noticed a nice increase in performance.
The stock MAF meter is your first restriction and a good place to start. You really dont need 24 lb. injectors until you are making over 300 HP. |
