Cool Next up - full exhaust & fix traction probs

In a slow evolution toward my goal of a 10-11 second blown Stang......I think the next steps will be full exhaust and traction improvers (upper/lower rear control arms and traction bar). As far as exhaust, should I be looking at 2.5" or 3", 1 5/8" longtubes/ shorttubes? BBK? MAC? Floturds? How about control arms......Hotchkis???? Your ideas are much appreciated.

Cool

Go with long tubes.I went with MAC 1 5/8 long tubes on 2 cars now,85GT and my present 87GT.I like them, installation takes time, but with patience you can get the job done.

The thing I would change however would be,getting BBK long tube headers,as their quality is alot better than MAC's is.Far as overall exhaust size, move up to at least 2 1/2 inch,as this will allow the forced air to exit alot faster..

Control arms...hmmm there are so many to choose from these days. HP megabite control arms are a good choice.Alotta people use soutside Machine traction bars, but personally I don't like them as they are noisy and use a solid bushing which tends to tear out torque boxes with ease,so I'd go with a control arm that uses a polyurathene bushing such as the HP megabite control arms use for example.

Cool

Would you recommend doing the upper/lower ctrl arms and the traction bar OR the upper/lower ctrl arms and drag radials (save some bucks)????
