Hi everyone! Well, the inevitable just happened! My stock fuel pump went on me today. I know I have choices to replace it, but that depends on the fuel economy. With my 88 LHP stock pump, I was getting about 15-16 mpg on the road.

Based on all of your experience, what would be the impact on fuel economy given what I have on the car (see my signature) if I have get any of the following as replacements? 1. 110 LHP 2. 155 LHP 3. 200 LHP Is it worth it, or should I stay with the stock 88 LHP replacement. I do regular driving and and ocassional tire spinning down the blvd. here and then. Thanks! fongo

Changing to a higher rated fuel pump will not make a difference in your gas mileage at all.

plemty of people are running around 155-190 lph and even 255 lph fuel pumps.

I would get like a 190 less you plan to go for more than like 400 HP no real need to get a 255 it will just be a wast of a pump hehe and it will heat up the fuel more as well.

Thanks everyone. Actually, if I get a 155 LHP pump I can save up to $100 compared to stock (apprx. 155 LHP=$80 vs stock 88 LHP kit=$180). I think I'll do that!
