Default Ok maybe I will stay SD but help me please

I had previously asked about mass air conversion now I am thinking of staying SD.

The car idle surges, I get poor gas mileage (13 mpg) and it stalls coming out of toll booths. This problem seemed to start when I installed the GT40 upper/lower (ported and polished).

The car sits a lot.

Does my 88GT have oxygen sensors? if so they are orginal should they be replaced?

Any oither ideas?

Chuck 88GT

PS thought of a great idea for a thread

Cool

Chuck the 02s are one of the most important parts for your car. DO NOT BUY AFTER MARKET get genuine FORD 02 sensors. If I remember right that is the same problem I had a few years ago. They can be tested, get the code book from autozone it tell you how. If you can afford them replace them. And don't give up we will get you through this.

Default Leak

No flames, but could it be vacuum leaks from your intake swap?

Is your vacuum hose off the FPR, check all vacuum related. Check connections under manifold.
