![]() Im planning on making quite a few changes within about a month or so. I wanna know what u guys think and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Right now i have.... 306, gt-40p, cobra intake, 70mm throttle body, e303 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, bbk fender well, stock MAF and injectors, 373's, C-4 Tranny with 3500 stall, aluminum driveshaft, and 50ox flywheel, pullies, no AC, no smog pump, shorties, x-pipe, flowmasters with that combo...shifting at 5000 i went a 13.30 @ 99 leaving from an idle...I think it will go at least a 13.10 with good traction and decent weather.. What im planning on changing... AFR 58cc 165's or 185's ????, porting the cobra intake upper and lower (can have it done for free), C&L MAF..what injectors???, should i go with 1.7's or a different cam? Electric fan and electric waterpump. Then getting all tuned on the dyno. How much RWHP do you think i will be making with that combo and what kind of e.t.'s do you think ill see? I hoping for at least low 12's. I would like to get in the high 11's on motor. What would i need to see these e.t's? I have all the suspension work done so thats not an issue.(sub frames, 70/30's, lift bars, etc...) thanks alot for all your help, bryan 90lx 86coupe |

![]() Seems that with the future combo you could be hitting high 12s with good traction and driving. Sorry, don't see 11s.

![]() Leaving from idle because of traction problems. Coming up on the convertor with the 10 inch hoosier quick times i was having a 2.15 60ft. When i left from idle i still spun but had a 1.75 60ft. I still only have the limited slip rear so with a posi it should be about a 13.0 or 12.9 on a good day cause i will be able to come up on the convertor. The 13.3 was on a humid day with a strong head wind and leaving from idle. Just goin to an electric fan and electric water pump will pick it up an easy 3 tenths alone. So it should definately be faster than high twelves with new combo. A friend of mine has a 90 gt with stock bottom, dart 2.02 valve heads and systemax intake, 4.10's, c-4 2800 stall, Z cam and went a 11.70 hitting fuel cut off just past the 1000ft mark. So you are saying im only gonna get a few tenths from electric fan, electric water pump,Afr heads, and a ported upper and lower intake, and a C&L MAF, and 24 lb. injectors? I mean if that was all the gain i would see then it definately isn't worth the 2 grand or so im about to spend.
