Cool Power Heads

I'm gonna have to pull my heads and I don't really want to put the stock ones back on. Is anybody running the Powerheads and if so what do you think about them?
Thanks,
Eddie

From what i read in magz, they work really well, and outflow heads like the 'world product's' windsor's, especially in the lower rpms where they feel more responsive, but still give topend too, im trying to decide on a head myself, might go with the roush 180's, still debating...

Yea, but then you have to get the p headers, which isnt a big deal, but you get a bigger valve with wp's head, and it would be about the same price as the p's with the headers, wich are 239$ i think, i guess it's kinda a toss up between them on budget price, but the powerheads would outflow both, so i dunno...

First, let me say I don't have any experience with them or know anyone personally that uses their heads. That being said, I considered them when I was looking into buying a set of heads for my car. I did a fair amount of research and found a number of complaints. They do have pretty good flow numbers, but they are known for having a pretty poor valve train. By the time I went through the trouble of sending them my heads for the core charge, it just seemed easier to save a little longer and order a set of Edelbrock's from Summit for $950. Maybe they've upgrade the valve train now and it's no longer a problem.

Just a question, but have any of you guys that recommended them, used them, and what have you found?

I have heard that the valve train in the power heads are weak. The valves inparticular.
