![]() I recently installed my afr 165 58cc heads and 1.6 roller rockers. I have an unported cobra intake and stock maf sensor. My next order i am planning on ordering the new RPM 2 manifold (after its released), 76mm MAF, and bigger injectors. Am i going to notice a substancial gain? Due to the local tracks being closed for the winter i havnt made a pass with the new heads. With the gt-40 irons and stock rockers i went a 13.03 @ 103. What do you think i will run now? After the intake, maf, and injectors??
thanks for the help gt-40 irons....for sale good shape, had no problems, were on the car when i purchased, the guy said about 15k on the heads

![]() I'd venture to say you'll see a fairly substantial gain from the things you're going to do...the MAF you're getting is one of the biggest out there if I'm not mistaken.. Just make sure the MAF and fuel injectors work together....if they're not made to match there can be some real driveability issues and probably power and gas mileage loss.

thanks for your help

![]() The Cobra is a good intake it works real nice when the lower is ported.
There are better intakes out there and the performer 2 sounds like a nice piece but I would say stick with the cobra and see how it works first, you may be happy with the gain from the heads they are very good heads. You may lose bottom end torque with the newer intake and that is nice in a street car. Definatly get a new MAF a Pro M might be a better choice then the C&L but I have heard good things about the new C&L 76mm kit but I have no first hand experience.

![]() Are the GT40's ported or polished? do you have pics? There are other things I'd like to spend money on before I worry about heads, but if a deal came along......

![]() what are the specs on the hr266 cam? I have an e303 right now. My goal is to dip in the 11's on the motor before i go to a power adder. Towards the end of this year i plan on building a 347 with a FTI cam.
About the heads.....Just make me an offer....I can get pics on here later this week if you like. They were on the car when i bought it and according to the guy i bought it from have 10-15k on them. They appear to be completely stock with no machine or port work done to them. I ran a 13.03 with them on there with the stock rockers along with the combination in my sig. later,
