Default MAF Questions.... Again

Sorry guys, but I cant search for MAF or Mass Air cause it's too few characters... anyway...

I've got twisted wedges heads, street intake and stage 1 cam to match... I suppose the next step is 24# injectors and a MAF sensor to match... though they come in various diameters... wondering what the right size for me would be...is 73mm too small... does that diameter make alot of difference? hardly seems like 2mm would be noticable...

another wierd question.. what would happen if you put 24# incjecters in and left the stock MAF... would it just run rich?

Default MAF......

A larger MAF won't help you much unless you have a larger throttle body/EGR spacer to go with it, which in my opinion should have been done BEFORE or at the same time as the heads, cam, intake swap.

Also, IMO.....24# injectors are worthless, they are barley better than 19's, I would go with 30's, an AFPR, 77mm Pro-M, and a 75mm TB.....you are naturally aspirated, so more in.....more out.

Also do you have headers????????, also you need a 3.73 gear.

Just my thoughts..........

A 75 mm mass air meter will support a 600 hp engine efficiently , so you be the judge on your set up . You definitely should change the throttle body as well though . I know the #24 injectors will be fine with your set up , but if you are planning on carrying it further , you might want to invest in the #30's so you don't end up buying injectors twice.

Cool

I don't know if any of that makes a differance at all. 89grocerygetter has a stock bottom, 165 AFRs, HR266, Holly Intake, S T O C K TB, a 73mm C&L cal for 19#, 22lph MOPAR injectors. His car runs perfect, idles great, and runs 12.0s @114.

I'm sorry I didnt mention the TB... I bought the whole setup from someone... so it has 70MMTB and 70MMEGR...

I have headers I bought as well, BBK shorties, and 3.73s I bought too... I buy stuff when I find it for a good price.. so I've been collecting parts for a while now, and I finaly have everythign I need to do this.. so there's only a few things like injecters and MAS and a FPR, those I might as well just buy new

Default injectors

I'd go with 24lb. injectors. You won't need the 30lbers unless you plan on throwing a blower or gobs of nitrous on the motor sometime soon.
