Default Oh My God!!!

Drove the 2004 40th Ann. GT today at local Ford dealer. 5 speed. First time I have driven a GT and compared to my 3.8 small pony it was breath taking. Th guy gave me the keys and said take it out for a spin. I am older so he did not go with me. Ha. The dealer is right near an on ramp to I10. Shot up on the interstate and went down a couple of exits and back. I was impressed!!! MACH stereo and all.
When I cranked it up I could tell this is really different than the V6. And that third gear wow. I had to slow down on the interstate and do third gear all over again a couple of times.
There was a new Mach 1 sitting next to it in the lot. Wish I would had said let me drive that one.
Course I had to sit throught the sales pitch for a while afterwards. Trying to trade me up from my 2003 V6. I almost gave in. I was only there to get a funky looking paint spot on my hood looked at but had to wander into the show room.
Advice: If you have a V6 and have not driven the GT or higher. Don't do it.....unless you got some money you want to part with.
At least my warranty will cover the paint spot repair but I don't know if I can keep the V6 or not after this experience. Will really have to get after some serious mods if I do.
