Default Do I use RTV on gaskets?

Should I use Blue RTV on the INtake gaskets on my stang or can I just use the gasket alone

Put a thin layer on the water jackets only.

No YES Also... the gaskets won't meet eachother because if he is smart he will ditch the cork gaskets and put a nice bead of black RTV in it's place

I use RTV on the front/rear intake gaskets. Actually, INSTEAD OF gaskets... I build up 1/4" bead, let it skin over, and install without any front/rear gasket.
Also put a dab in the corners between front-intake and intake-head, where they touch.
None on the intake-head surfaces.

I always use silicone around the water jackets like Wade said. I use it on both sides of the gasket.

Me too. Just let is set a little bit so that the gaskets stay in place.

Also, ditch the cork gaskets and use the method drudis described. I use the same method and it works very well.

I always used rtv at thr front and back of the intake and around the water jackets. I wouldn't put any at the intake runners unless you are running alot of boost. What gaskets are you running...Felpro?
