Default What do you guys think of the P.I. intake swap?

As many may know, theres alot people replacing the 96-98 NPI intake with the P.I. intake. I'm debating doing the swap without adapter plates. I have not seen anyone locally do the swap so I have some reservations. Some say use RTV some say not to, some say the EEC has to be tweaked, some say it doesn't. Question is, have any of you personally seen anyone have success without adapter plates?

(needed to post, it's getting slow on this board)
