![]() Hey guys,
Has anyone had problem gas gauge, temp gauge, oil pressure gauges not working properly. All the needles stay at high or full. They move all the way to one side. I think the alt gauge is working properly it stays in the middle. I have already replaced OPS switch, Temp sensor, fuel sender and still aren't working. Please help, ross ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() It is attached, usually with one screw to the back of the instrument cluster.
Instrument Voltage Regulator.

![]() Ok
I replaced that IVR and its doing the same thing that the old IVR was doing. Do you think if the wires are grounding out would cause the gauge to the full position and the H positions. ross |

![]() I know that NPD has them in print and on CD.
They also list just the wiring diagram for $5.95. Pretty cheap too. Sorry, don't know one on the web though. Maybe someone else does.

![]() Just so you know, if the gauges aren't COMPLETELY isolated from cluster housing, they'll not operate properly due to grounding out. There is cardboard isolators that are supposed to isolate them and do ok, but I ended up spraying the housing with a nonconductive treatment in order to improve isolation. Long time beating my head against the wall on that one.
