![]() Two questions asking for two honest answers. I have the stock rockers in my motor still and I have seen people on here talking about 1.6 rockers and 1.7 rockers. I am not mechanically inclined so I am not sure what the benefits are to these. If you can explain to me why these are beneficial and influence me to purchase some, what is the installation like? Are these right underneath the valve covers or must I take apart more? If its not much of a hassle, I'll do them myself. Oh, above all, how can of torque or horsepower can I gain from this or are these another one of those parts that I should do if I am to install something else (cam/larger T/B, better heads, etc)?
My thermostat question is simplier. What temp does the stock one open at? From my signature, do you think I should/would benefit from a cooler one? If so, if one is installed for any other reason than from shi.ts and giggles, what temp should I get? Thanx. ------------------ 94' Stang GT Convertible --Cobra upper&lower, GT-40Y Turbo Swirl aluminum heads, Mac cold air w/K&N, BBK equal length shorties, BBK offroad H-pipe, American Thunder cat-back, BBK T/B 65mm, 24lb injectors, Pro-77mm MAM, pulleys, aluminum driveshaft, 3.55s, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, adjustable fuel regulator 14.4@100 MPH on G-tech;96 at track.
