Question 92 GT tail lights changed to LX tail lights

Hi,
Had to change out the left rear taillight on the GT some big tree got in the way. Changed out both to match went to the stock LX lights.
The LX tail lights fit well, however, have a question on the turn signal lights, they now flash in the white section of the tail light. Is this normal if some one can tell me if this is just they way they are or do they have to be re-wired?
Thank you for your response.

My LX has the red tail light, beside them there is the signal in a white section with the back up light... when it flashes it looks orange. not sure if thats what u meant?
