![]() Well, after spending the last few months trying to decide on an engine setup that will fit my needs, I am ready to rebuild my 351w using some of what I have and upgrading a few thing, here's what I'll have when done:
World Products Windsor heads - 2.02in, 1.60ex Edelbrock 600cfm carb Edelbrock RPM Intake Crane Cam - 216/228 @ .050 (Would the 226/236 be better?) 9.0:1 compression Stock Torque converter stock rear end (2.73 I think) Hooker headers Dual 2.5" exhaust with 3-chamber flowmasters I am looking for any input on my selections. This is my first time building a motor like this. The car is a daily driver so I'm want to keep the mpg at a reasonable level (>= 12mpg). Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, any ideas on the HP this setup would give and rough MPG that I should get? Thanks, Brock |
