Question quarter panel replacement

Anyone with rear quarter panel experience have opinions on full reproduction convertible panels? Do they fit exactly? Who sells the best? Who has the thickest guage metal?

Well.....
I dont know squat about quarter panels. But,
We put new aftermerket front fenders on one of our Mach 1's. They not only suck, but fit like a saddle on a sow! I sure regret getting rid of the original fenders. I would prefer to pay extra to have original sheetmetal properly repaired than buy cheap immitations. Small patch panels are ok. imho.
I cant wait til I can afford (& find) originals again.

No panel fits exactly. Some fit better than others. Whatever you get expect it will take some rework to make it fit and look good. Measurements are important for if you get 'em wrong, the other body panels won't fit. Measure at least twice.
