GM is getting rid of Oldsmobile and buying Daewoo. So don't feel bad about Ford canceling a few models. They might build the GT40, if they do they will have the top sports car.

Again, if you like it then thats cool, but I would rather build up a Mustang with the cash that the SSR costs. Plus the Mustang looks ten thousand times better. Just my opinion though.
I like GMC trucks I was getting pumped a couple of years ago when they were going to come out with the all motor truck that ran low 13's but they wussed out.

They still dont know wich engine the SSR will have so its up in the air wether or not I want one.

That is correct. The rear wheel drive SSR will have a Vortech 324ci all aluminum V8 with 6 bolt mains, a front differential that goes through the oil pan, and no need for an EGR valve. The engine's maintenance schedule calls for new plugs every 100k, flush the cooling system every 150k, and oil changes every 10k miles. The whole vehicle is built with stronger materials that weigh less, meaning this $35k vehicle should be pretty quick.

I could live with that.

Take care,
-Chris

It'll be fast, but will it be any faster than a Lightning or a new Dodge SRT 10. Reg cab, short bed, 500 c.i.d. V-10, 500 hp, 500 ft. lbs. of torque. I seen it on the NAIAS site and it looks like its gonna be fast.
