1st time at track with 99 GT auto
We finally got around to taking my brothers stock 35th package- 99 GT auto to the track to get some base runs. Well, it has a K&N and a set of flowmasters, but thats still stock to me
I was fairly pleased with how it ran considering it has just about every option (= heavy,) and still had tools and all kinds of other weight in the car. Here's two runs I made in the car manually shifting: R/T .520 .505 60' 2.106 2.202 330 6.041 6.092 1/8 9.224 9.250 mph 77.57 78.09 990 11.880 11.898 1/4 14.275 14.295 mph 97.34 97.15 And by the way, I hear alot of people talking about how the stock Goodyear tires suck at the track. I did manage a 2.06 60' time on one run. That was with about 27psi, and going through the water box (you can't get around it at Atco.) So IMO, they can hook up pretty good, just seems they need a decent little burnout.
