Car starts and wont start, will it make up its mind?
My car starts without pressing the clutch. It came like that from the police. sometimes I play with the connections on the clutch and the car starts but sometimes is does not. I dont think its the starter but if any of you have any idea what this could be, please let me know.

I didn't think that they would bypass the clutch safety switch even for a cop car. Check to see if anyone put jumper wires in the connection to make it work. Inspect all wires and see if any other wires are not attached or spliced into these connections. This can be very dangerous if the car starts in gear.
The safety switch probably went bad and they bypassed it instead of replacing it, and made a bad connection. I would replace the safety switch though, because it could start in gear and lurch forward injuring someone. Post what happens so we can help you solve your problem. |

Well I checked it out and it turned out to be the alarm system. It kills the ignition and found out that the relay is bad. I will have to wait till Moday to fix this.
Thanks for all your help |
