Ran a Civic Si
So I'm driving back from picking up some new spark plug wires, as I've got a loose one, and I see this Civic Coupe pull out in front of me. He does the usual thing and takes off quick like a moron.
I'm pulling up to turn right at the next light and he is just sitting there waiting for me. So I know what the liitle geek wants, and am debating wether or not he's worth the gas. I'm rolling down the street, and he is pacing me, I can feel his beady eyes on the side of my head. We hit a light and he winds his car out a lot, and is no faster than my car not even racing. There was an Expedition between us (3 lane road) and another light just up ahead. As I'm coasting up to this red light, I throw him a little rev. Now Leon and keith say my car doesn't sound stock, so I figure I'll scare him a little. The light drops and I lauch good, way better than I ever did at the track, noticing that orange county roads are way stickier than the Carlsbad track. I've got a car and a half on him when I grab second and notice he ain't there anymore. I guess when he heard the tires chirp he hit the brakes. Now I'm rolling down the road and I see him coming for a flyby. WRONG! Drop a gear and stop him at the bumper. We hit another light and this time roll through it around 20. I pull him in second gear, he shifted twice while I was running second. We were into a more populated area, so I'm thinking I'm done racing him. He decides he needs to flyby one more time. I stop him again, but there is a van in his lane. Knowing he won't stop, I grab a lot of brakes to let him move infront of me. He was looking at my car in disbelief and almost rear ended the van. Luckily there was a bike lane which was empty, that he went trought at about 80. Made me realize why street racing is so dangerous. This kid would not run me and lose on the wide open, empty six lane stretch, rather he wanted to fly by in traffic once we reaced town. What an idiot. I gues the Si is for Stupid Idiot.

Nice Kill
You're making me jealous. There are way too many of these rice burners around here. It's good there's someone else out there in my neighbor hood to show them why you should buy Ford! Take care, Keith.

It doesn't matter how MUCH faster my car is, the point is it is. That wasn't even the issue. It was the fact he was looking to prove he was more a man than me, not faster. I know everyone thinks they are careful and the other people are psychos. I have to say it was def true here. Anytime there was room for a clean run, I couldn't find him. Stupid idiot.
