have you checked the throttle position sensor? You may have to set everything (TPI/distributor) and reset the computer ( i don't remember what the procedure is as far as how long to leave the power unhooled and how long to keep it running after). Post this in the blue oval lounge, someone should know.

you can get an idle adjuster it goes betweeen the IAC valve and lets you rasie or lower the idle speed i set mine to 850-900 RPMS

My car has the E-cam, after I put the motor back in and messed w/ the timing a little the only thing I did was set the idle around 750rpm and make sure the TPS was set (I think) around .998
THe only thing that seems weird is when I rev it quick and let off, the rpms drop quick down around 1000 and hang for a few seconds then drop back to 750. Maybe cause I haven't reset my computer, who knows.

I also am putting it in becasue I run NOS and figured the stock cam was making me enough power while im on the bottle, this car is ok it goes low 13`s on the motor i am trying my hardest to go 12`s on the motor

The 94-95 Mustangs are real sensitive to cam changes, if it works great on a 89-93 mass air car, it may not have the same idle quality on the 94-95 5.0. I have found that sometimes the only permanent fix is to make sure the cam has at least a 114 degree lobe seperation angle. All of the Motorsport cams are 112 degree lobe seperation. The stock 94-95 has a 115 degree lobe seperation. That is why Steeda offers 2 versions of their cams. Everything the same except for the lobe seperation for the 94-95 cars. The idle and throttle responce is truely better with the 114 degree lobe seperation angle on the 94-95 cars. Also you will notice that a lot of turbo and supercharger cams (read EFI)have a 114 degree lobe seperation angle (unless it is a high rpm race engine) because there is less tendency to blow boost out the exhaust valve from the inherent overlap caused by the 112 degree cams. Now that is not to say that everyone has had a problem, it is just a real good fix for those who are tired of trying to adjust around it.

Cool

I can assure you it is not the cam. I have an E cam, cobra intake, 65mmTB, Exhast, and a supercharger. On a SPEED DENSITY car. Mine idles great, it is not the cam.

Yea, BUT not on a 94-95 5.0. That is the only combo that seems to have a problem with the 112 degree lobe seperation cams. I thought I made that point clear. drdo has a 94 5.0 I have put plenty of E cams in 87-93 5.0's with no problem. Cannot say the same about the 94-95 5.0.
