Default Engine wont' idle under 2,000 rpm

When I first start my car up, it idles fine. But, after driving for a bit, it idles around 2,000 rpm and does not kick back down to normal. Nothing mechanical seems to be wrong, such as my cable being in a bind or the butterfly valve being stuck open. Could something be wrong with my IAB? Give me your thoughts.

That could be, but I don't know why it would have changed all of a sudden. I should get some time throughout the week to look at it. If I can get a hold of a voltmeter, I will check TPS to make sure it hasn't changed.

I dont know what your problem is.. but sensors are wierd like that.. they just GO... I had an 87 chevy celebrity and one day it wouldnt start.. turned out it was the CRANK POSITIONS SENSOR... it ran fine when I parked it... the next day.. nothing... a 12 dollar part cost like 100 bucks to replace.. kinda funny like that.. so if it's your TPS at least its easy to replace
